Don Addis was an editorial cartoonist for most of his adult life, working for both the Evening Independent and the St. Petersberg Times in St. Petersberg, Florida. Along the way he contributed his artistic talents to many national magazines and also created three syndicated comics along the way. Bent Offerings, the last of the three, won the award for Best Panel Cartoon from the National Cartoonists Society in 1993. Mr. Addis died in 2009 of lung cancer at the age of 74. He will be missed.
